The Rules of Blackjack
Objective
After initially being dealt two cards, both the player and the dealer try to
get as close to twenty-one as possible, without going over. The player
decides whether or not to draw cards in achieving this objective. The game is
never played between multiple players. Rather, it is solely between the
dealer and the player.
Placing Wagers
To place your wager, all you have to do is click on the 'increase bet' or
'decrease bet' button. The amount of your wager is displayed directly to the
right of these buttons. This amount will change, corresponding to variations
in your wagers. It always signifies the amount you are betting on the next
hand.
Rule Summary
* Dealer must draw on all card score totals of 16 or
less, and stand on all totals of 17-21;
* Player may take insurance only if the dealer is dealt an ace;
* Player can only double down on any initial two-card-combo of 9,10 or 11;
* Player may not double a split hand.
