Casino Worker's Bomb Hoax Rap
AUSTRALIA As reported by the Advertiser: ``A former casino worker
who fell off a ladder and broke his arm at work will face trial in
Brisbane for allegedly threatening to drive a bomb-laden car into the
building.
``
The Turkish-born immigrant, who worked at Brisbane and Gold Coast
casinos, was pruning trees in Queen's Park outside Brisbane's Treasury
casino when he broke his arm.
``Defence barrister Simon Hamlin-Harris told the court Irfan Kaya, of
Fitzgibbon on Brisbane's northside, tried twice to contact casino boss
Howard Dreitzer about fixing his arm after the fall in 2001.
``His calls made a year apart were put through to human resources
staff at first before Kaya spoke to Mr Dreitzer's executive assistant
Jan Barnes.
