Although it seems the online gambling industry in Canada is not in
danger of ending, it does seem a good chance that advertising for online
casinos on Canadian television might be given the hook. Like in

there is a irregularity on the stances towards online gambling between

Currently, online casinos have been taking advantage of a
broadcasting law that allows them to advertise free gaming features
their websites offer. So long as there is no advertising for
casino games in which currency is bet and exchanged, all is considered
legitimate. However, many casinos have not necessarily been
holding up their end of the bargain. Advertising has been crossing
that line of "free games" which is now causing anti-gambling advocates
to take note and openly complain.
Right now, provincial governments are permitted to run online
lotteries, which many online casinos are actually doing. The
question whether these websites are offering more than what they were
intended to offer gamblers according to Canadian Law still remains a
debatable issue between supporters and prosecutors of the online
gambling industry.
