International Casino Games Fizzling
In what was described as the largest online gambling
event of 2005, the International Casino Games have proven to only stir
up a mediocre interest amongst online casino players. Created by

year, (no doubt to motivate those American patriots out there) and are
scheduled to last until the end of the year. And although they are
not faring as well as hoped, the games are still being tentatively
scheduled for next year at the same time.
Giving away more than $1.5 million is cash and
prizes, the International Casino Games is also giving away free rides on
the Caribbean Princess cruise liner to compete in a $250,000 gambling
tournament held by Fortune Lounge. The intention of the games,
according to Fortune Lounge Online Casinos Group, was to bring together
an international array of online gamblers to create a competitive and
fun gambling atmosphere that would result in some of the largest
jackpots and prize pools the internet betting community had ever seen.
However, so far the International Casino Games have
fallen short from this goal. It is thought that players are shying
away because they feel the games is only a promotional event designed to
bring more players to Fortune's large group of online casinos.
Yet, the bottom line is that money is being brought in, and money is
being awarded.
With five months to go, the International Casino Games
will not be revolutionizing the gambling industry. However, they
will still be taking place, and will still be holding the end of year
tournament on the Princess cruise ship.
